We are known throughout the United States for our high success on Mature Lions. This is always an exciting hunt.
Our Lion hunting runs from mid November through March. The accommodations for this hunt are a bunkhouse or trailer at our home in Loma, CO sharing meals with our family. We travel out each day from home to the hunting areas in the surrounding mountains.
This is a 7 day hunt.
$4,200 per person For an adult male or female.
$4,500 per person For Toms Only.
In the interest of a safe and successful hunt we limit the number of participants to one or two at a time (unless special arrangements are made at time of booking).
This hunting is in the middle of our winter and the temperatures can be very cold. You should bring Warm Waterproof Clothing and Boots plus a Warm Sleeping Bag along with your Personal Gear.
Our hunting is done by cutting trail with 4WD trucks, snowmobiles or ATV's and when a track is found we employ fair chase with dogs. We are known for taking only mature lions. The method of take is your option.
Our hunting is done on BLM and National Forest Lands. This is very rugged country and requires that you be in good physical condition as it always requires some amount of walking. There is a good population of Lions in these areas and our hunters have taken many trophy animals.
When booking please tell us your age and physical condition (including any health impairments). With this information we can make special arrangements, if necessary, to make your hunt as safe and enjoyable as possible.
We urge you to plan this trip well in advance because we have limited openings.
MOTEL INFO - You will need a motel room for the night you arrive and the night you return to Grand Junction from camp. We work with two motels:

The La Quinta Hotel at Fruita, Colorado, 1-970-858-8850 for reservations. No shuttle. For those who drive to Fruita, it is 15 miles west of Grand Junction. You must tell them you are hunting with us or you will not get your discount.
To book a hunt we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. This may be a personal check or money order if booking for the current year. If you are booking for a future year it must be in the form of a Postal Money Order. We cannot send a contract without the deposit and by law we cannot take you hunting without a signed contract. The balance of the fee is due 30 days prior to the hunt and may be in the form of a check or money order.
COLORADO LAW AND APPLYING FOR LICENSE
For hunts requiring a License Draw the drawing deadline is April 1st.
When applying for a "Draw License", many errors can be avoided by applying online at www.wildlife.state.co.us. To aide you in determining the correct Big Game Hunt Code you may view or request the Colorado Big Game Brochure online at DOW or call the Colorado DOW at (303) 297-1192. The brochure will also explain license cost and associated fees.
Colorado Law requires that anyone born on or after Jan 1, 1949 must have a Hunter Safety Card from their home state. Without this you will not be issued a license.
